Shutting down the website

It has now been many years since we were film students, so we feel we no longer have much to say on the subject, at least not from an insider's perspective.

We offer one final bit of advice: Do not take on debt to attend film school. If you are wealthy enough to attend film school without student loans, go ahead. If you are not, then don't. If you take on student debt, use it to learn a skill that will provide a more reliable income.

Anyway, the tools to make, edit and distribute films are now available virtually free of charge. If you want to make movies, you don't need need a school to show you how. Go do it yourself. Write a story, shoot it, post it on the web. You can do it all with your phone now.
